Meet Shelli Chipman, Academic Center Coordinator, Canadian Valley Technology Center, El Reno Campus.
Shelli has been employed at CVTECH for 14 years as the AC Coordinator. She focuses on her students and loves watching them gain confidence in what they are learning, applying those skills, seeing them succeed and moving forward. Shelli feels fortunate to work with a great group of people. Previously, she worked at Western Technology Center in Burns Flat and was a 6th and 7th grade Reading, Writing, Physical Science and Geography teacher for Burns Flat – Dill City Public Schools. Shelli holds a Bachelors degree from Oklahoma State University and a M.Ed. from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
Shelli married her high school sweetheart 43 years ago and they have 3 sons, 2 daughters-in-law and 4 grandchildren. Which are all currently living in
Oklahoma. Shelli and her family love being active together while exploring their land, finding bugs and flowers, wading in streams and swimming in lakes, hiking in Colorado, and enjoying each other’s company. Her husband and her are avid Oklahoma State fans and have held season tickets for almost 42 years. They love to watch Cowboy wrestling and football and being a part of a huge family of fans. She is also an avid reader and is very fond of the classics. When she can find the time, she enjoys cross-stitch, knitting, sewing, crafts and canning.
Oh, and by the way did I tell you how much she loves orange?
