President-Elect Candidate
Tim Lankford
Tim Lankford is finishing his 13th year in education. He has taught middle school through adults in Tennessee, Indiana, and Oklahoma. He holds a MS in Communication from Purdue University and a MA in Teaching from Marian University. He is a graduate of the Leadership for Educational Equity policy program, former Assistant Director - Youth Education and Scholarships for The American Legion National Headquarters, a veteran of the U.S. Marines, and a former narcotic's officer in Memphis, TN.
Currently, Tim oversees Special Populations Services for Metro Tech. He is the former Treasurer and current Reporter for ESSP. He completed the Emerging Leaders I program at Metro Tech and is currently finishing up his Board Certification in Special Education.
When he's not working to finish writing a novel, Tim enjoys coding, gaming, reading, photography, and time with his three dogs and family.


Secretary Candidate
Lucinda Francis
Lucinda is an instructional coach and literacy specialist at Moore Norman Technology Center. She works with teachers on their way to becoming master teachers. She is an active member of the Educational Services-Special Populations division, and the Diversity Action Committee where she served on the legislative committee as task force chair. She also serves on the state board of the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development. She has been a member of the ESSP division for 18 years. She was a finalist for ACTE’s 2022-2023 Teacher Educator of the Year.


Reporter-Elect Candidate
Stephanie Aitken
Stephanie Aitken has 16 years in education and is currently an Aerospace Academy instructor at Tulsa Tech. Her role encompasses drop-out recovery and alternative education, where she focuses on building hope for all students.
She would like to serve in order to assist with public relations, share about our achievements in CTE, and share our students' accomplishments with a wider audience. Sharing the successes of ESSP and our students will mean sharing hope.


Political Action Committee (PAC) Candidate
Shelly Eubank
Shelly Eubank joined Mid-America Technology Center in August 2022 as the new Special Services Coordinator. She obtained her master’s degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Central Oklahoma. Shelly holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence and is Nationally Board Certified. She previously worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the public-school system for 26 years.
Shelly is married to Mike Eubank. They have three children and two grandchildren.


Political Action Committee (PAC) Candidate
Lori Nelson
Lori Nelson is the instructional assistant and secretary at Kiamichi Technology Centers – Spiro Campus. She teaches Microburst Employability Softskills classes. She also facilitates NCCER welding Level I & II, Math of Finance and Algebra 2.
This is Lori’s 31st year working in public education. She is a member of OkACTE and ACTE. Her divisional memberships have included NRS, Support Staff and ESSP. Lori was also a member of the KTC- LEADership class III. While working for Kiamichi Tech she has had the opportunity to attend many professional development meetings to improve her skills and knowledge.
Believing that we each have the ability to improve someone’s life, she has an open-door policy for students to come in and vent or celebrate. Sometimes all someone needs is for someone to listen. Outside of work you will find Lori and her husband enjoying life with their family and friends.


Mutual Benevolence Plan Candidate
Cathy Story
Cathy is a currently serving as a Process and Procedures Coordinator at Metro Technology Centers within the Grants and Special Projects department. Her role involves the management and oversight of district-controlled documents and providing robust support for grant-related activities. She is a seasoned Communications Professional with a bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications, boasting over two decades of experience in community relations and development, specializing in strategic planning and program development. She is proficient in various aspects of communication management, including marketing, social media, advertising, media relations, and event planning. She enjoys working with diverse and dynamic teams, and brings a creative and collaborative approach to every project she undertakes.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Cathy finds joy in traveling, cherishing moments with her two daughters and four grandchildren, and caring for Buddy, the parrot, and Otis J., her energetic 6-monthold Blue Heeler.


Diversity Action Committee Candidate
Kennell Winrow
Kennell Winrow is the Project SEARCH Coordinator for Metro Tech. She has 23 years in education. Previously, she has served as the Health and Safety Coordinator, Coordinator Mentor, and Title IX Officer. She was also the Director for Women of Worth. She is the past recipient of the Quality Educator Award and the Employment Success Award.
Kennell believes in her experience to advocate in a variety of ways to benefit Career Tech. She is able to personally relate to physical and mental disabilities. She focuses her energy on advocating for others and eliminating conflict as a partner. She adheres to the words of Albert Camus, "Don't walk in front of me because, I may not follow. Don't walk behind me because I may not lead. Just walk beside me and be my friend."
