Sheila Wright was born and raised in Vinita, Oklahoma, and is deeply connected to her roots in the community. A proud mother of two and grandmother to three, Sheila cherishes the time spent with her family, especially enjoying spirited games of Wa-Hoo and corn hole, where she makes sure to keep the competition fierce—she doesn’t let her grandchildren win!

Sheila’s professional journey is one of dedication and growth. With over 20 years of experience at Dana/Eaton, Sheila worked in various roles, including assembly operator, quality control, customer service, plant expeditor, and lead over assembly, pack off, and shipping. After the plant closed, she took the opportunity to further her education at NEO A&M College in Miami, Oklahoma, earning an associate degree in management and marketing along with a two-year accounting degree.

Following her education, Sheila worked as a bookkeeper at a law firm in Vinita before beginning her career at the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education. There, she became the TDL (Transportation, Distribution, & Logistics) Instructor at the Northeast Oklahoma Community Correction Center. This is Sheila’s first year as an instructor, and she has been busy preparing material with the help of her colleagues to ensure her students have the best possible learning experience.

When she's not working, Sheila enjoys spending time outdoors, especially when the weather is pleasant. Her love for nature provides a welcome balance to her busy life. Through her work and personal life, Sheila remains committed to her family and community while continuing to grow in her professional endeavors.
