Meet Randa Pirrong, Project HOPE Administrator, Francis Tuttle Technology Center-Rockwell Campus.
Randa Pirrong is in her 26th year in CareerTech Education. Randa began her career with OKCPS as a Family and Consumer Science Teacher, becoming nationally board certified in 2007. The majority of her teaching years were at Emerson Mid-High School-OKCPS. Emerson is an alternative school for at-risk students.
Randa has spent the last twelve years in the technology center serving in various roles in administration, curriculum, instruction, and professional development. She holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Oklahoma. Randa has been active in OkACTE/ACTE and was named the Administration Division-Administrator of the Year in 2020.
Randa is married to her husband Cary. They have two sons and one daughter-in-love. Case who is employed as a civil engineer, Emily an attorney, and Reese who is a Freshman at OCCC.
Randa’s position embodies two of her passions-CareerTech Ed and at-risk students. She loves to go to work each day and be a champion for kids who others have given up on. Randa’s favorite career moments are watching her students cross the stage at completion! Each graduating from high school, completing their CT program, and gaining certifications.
